Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and digital transformation 2nd & 3rd December, 2020 conference.cdel@unn.edu.ng
Given the high demand for higher education in the continent, which cannot be met by the conventional universities adopting the face-to-face (f2f) delivery mode, the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) delivery mode becomes a viable option which African universities must take advantage of. It is against this background that we perceived the need to stimulate a discourse on both intellectual and practical dimensions around the core issues, principles and methodologies of ODL that will help to build a strong foundation for the practice of ODL in Sub-Saharan Africa.
